The renewal had as main goals:
- A modernization of the image and available contents, with the introduction of new functionalities, namely research by category of products and / or brand, availability of a page dedicated to each brand we represent with relevant documentation (catalogs, videos), online registration of guarantees, highlight of most important news in the homepage and a page dedicated to news with permanent update.
- Improve the browsing experience by making it more intuitive and responsive, i.e. adapted to any device from which it is accessed (PC, tablet, smartphone).
- Optimize search engine positioning to promote our product range more effectively.
- Up-grade of the Customer Area, reserved to registered customers, simplifying the access to information relevant to the specialized reseller, for example stock check, order or repair status, access to instruction manuals, spare parts diagrams and other documentation.
- Criação de um canal YouTube próprio – Bolas Canal – e numa, fase posterior, ligação às redes sociais.
- Creation of a YouTube channel - Bolas Channel - and in a later phase, connection to social media.
The design of the new website and its iconography are the responsibility of the grandson of Bolas' founder, the contents are fully developed by the Marketing Department of the company and Digitalworks was in charge of the ITplatform, a company which from Évora operates internationally .
